Announcing AthensMC "All The Mods"!

Yo yo yo guys!

Have you been thinking to yourself, "Hey self, lately I've felt like playing modded but those DWEEBS at Athens don't have a new modded server rolling I can get excited about?"

HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU!

Effective immediately, and scheduled to be up from now through August 31, we've opened a brand new "All The Mods" modded minecraft server. Come on in, the water's fine, and we've got "All the Mods" on Minecraft version 1.10.2. Why 1.10.2? Because it had more of All the Mods! 

The mod list for All the Mods v2.55e can be found here (first column minus the Blood Moon mod, which he's removed for the latest version thank goodness):  http://allthepacks.com/compare-modpacks/ 

If you're already an Athens member, then CONGRATS, you're already whitelisted! Just go to YOUR CHOICE of either Curse (https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/all-the-mods) or Technic (https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/all-the-mods-full-official.1015285) and install the pack, then hop on in at allthemods.athensmc.com ; we will be keeping mostly in sync with the pack releases as they're updated, so it should be much easier for everyone and give your loyal admins the ability to play more , and admin less :) 

Not an Athens member? Apply to join our community at (https://athensmc.com/users/sign_up) and we'll handle the rest. If you're a referral make SURE you put in who's referring you and where they know you from, so we can get you in as quickly as possible. 

"What happened to all the packs Elynn makes?" I hear some of you saying. Well, the fact is, Elynn is SUPER DUPER busy in her new job, and doesn't have as much time as she used to for building and curating custom modpacks. She made a start at a new one, but quickly realized that it was essentially this pack except, you know, not as polished. So rather than spending months and months building something, she decided to pop this one up, and then spend more time playing/streaming with all of you :)

The server update has been completed, and I have been able to connect. Update your version of the AllTheMods packs to v2.56.  Enjoy!

I accidentally crashed the server by trying to mine a HV Cable with a Tinkers Pick

All is forgiven! The server is back up now - if that happens again, try tweeting at @athensminecraft on twitter, all the mod type folks will see that. 
I was at a movie so I didn't know :) 

Anything special about the pick generally?

I tested in single player and those cables can't be broken with any pickaxe ( to be more exact the pickaxes seem unable to interact with the cables ), but when the user tries a few times to do that the game/server crashes.
