RRR Flux Tinkers Items

There seems to be a bug with adding a flux capacitor to Tinkers Construct tools. My client crashes every time I place the item into the tool forge. Is there a way around it? Do any of you have tools that use RF via that upgrade or otherwise?

I don't believe there's a workaround at this time.

Really it seems to be any kind of modded items from TE don't tend to work well with Tinkers sadly.
